We recently received feedback from a member about the service he received from Idaho Central’s Member Assistance Department. This member was extremely impressed with the way his situation was handled and how the team at Idaho Central always goes the extra mile to make sure he is taken care of.
The member wrote: “I have been interacting with the Member Assistance Department for the last two years. I was compelled to say something, even though I am normally the type of person to just let things go and move on. Over three years ago, I got divorced, had to move me and my four children, was starting a small business, facing restructuring at my 22 year career long job, my father was fighting cancer, I had late payments on loans and a very low credit score.
I had to refinance auto loans, RV loans, credit cards and consolidate other loans to get them out of my ex-wife’s name.
The following year, things got worse as my father passed away, my loans were past due, my credit cards were maxed out, and my business went broke. I had to find change in the couch cushions to buy a loaf of bread.
Through this time, I worked with at least 10 different Member Assistance Officers at ICCU. They always treated me with respect and professionalism. They helped me make changes to better my financial situation and get my finances back on track. I’m sorry for crying, I rarely shed a tear, but it all just built up and spilled out. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me. I see a light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m almost ready to get back in the market for new house! I am humbled by my experiences over the past few years, but I’m a stronger man because of them. The Member Assistance Department helped me make the changes necessary to achieve my financial success.”
