Idaho Central Credit Union is thrilled to announce we have been awarded significant grants through the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Des Moines. The Member Impact Fund is a program that matches $3 for every $1 of their member’s grant donation to improve the opportunity of affordable housing or community development.
Eleven Idaho nonprofit organizations have been chosen as recipients for the Idaho Central Credit Union grant based on their exemplary philanthropic initiatives in a variety of fields. These grants will provide vital support to the organizations, empowering them to continue their valuable work and make a positive impact in their communities.
The grants, along with the donations made from ICCU, totals over $1 million and will be disbursed to the nonprofits this summer. The funds will directly contribute to strengthening their programs and their ability to serve others. This partnership is an example of Idaho Central and FHLB Des Moines’ commitment to social responsibility and making an impact in the areas they serve.
The following nonprofit organizations will each receive a portion of the grant money: GoWest Foundation, United Way Treasure Valley, NeighborWorks Pocatello, Idaho Youth Ranch, United Way Idaho Falls and Bonneville County, United Way Kootenai, United Way South Central Idaho, United Way Southeastern Idaho, Moscow Affordable Housing Trust, Inc., United Way of Moscow/Latah County, and NeighborWorks Boise.
