Eligibility Requirements
If you live or work in Idaho, Washington, or eastern Oregon, chances are you can become a member of Idaho Central.
Becoming a member of Idaho Central is easy. If you meet the eligibility requirements below, you’ll need $30 to open your account — $25 goes into your Share Savings Account and becomes your share of the Credit Union and the remaining $5 is a one-time membership fee. Idaho
- Persons who live, work, or attend school in any Idaho county.
- Organizations operating within any Idaho county, with or without employees.
Washington
- Persons who live or work in the boundaries of a Washington School District.
- Organizations located within the boundaries of a Washington School District.
Eastern Oregon
- Persons who live or work in Baker, Malheur, Umatilla, Union, and Wallowa Counties, Oregon.
- Organizations located within Baker, Malheur, Umatilla, Union, and Wallowa Counties, Oregon.
Jackpot, Nevada
- Persons who live, work, attend school, or are paid in Jackpot, Nevada.
Association
- Idaho Trusts composed entirely of eligible members of the Credit Union (settlor, trustee, and beneficiary) or irrevocable trusts of such persons.
- Employees and members of credit unions located in the State of Idaho.
- The GoWest Credit Union Association, its employees, and its chapters.
- Employees of the Credit Union and its wholly or jointly owned credit union service organizations.
- Persons employed in any division, subsidiary, or branch of the Micron Corporation and retirees of the same.
Immediate Family
- Immediate family members of eligible members of the Credit Union. Immediate family members include a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. This also includes stepparents, step-grandparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, adoptive relationships, and persons in a relationship in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.
