Idaho Central Credit Union is thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of this year’s Idaho Gives! This is the sixth year in a row that we have helped support this great event. Idaho Gives is a statewide, giving day taking place on May 3. On this day, donors can visit the Idaho Gives website and donate online to a cause of their choice. There are hundreds of causes to choose from and 100% of all donations made that day are tax deductible.
Last year, marked the biggest Idaho Gives in history! 10,570 individuals raised $1,379,406 for 628 nonprofits. Since the inaugural event in 2013, Idahoans have raised more than $4.8 million for participating organizations!
To make it fun, cash prizes from sponsors will be awarded throughout the day where you will have the chance to win more money for the organization you donated to.
The event will also include an assortment of activities around the state, including open houses, community celebrations, block parties and more.
Employer participation will be a key factor in reaching the $1.5 million goal set for this year’s Idaho Gives campaign. Idaho Central recognizes the economic and social impact that Idaho nonprofits bring to the state, including adding $2.81 billion to Idaho’s economy and over 55,000 jobs annually – and will match all employee donations during Idaho Gives.
